The following article explains how to create Microsoft Teams notifications in CLOUD TOGGLE.
1. Set up a webhook for the Teams channel you would like notifications to be sent to. In Teams, Locate the Team which is the target and then click on the three dots for relavent the channel in the Team:
2. Click on Workflows.
3. Search for and select 'Post to a channel when a webhook request is received'.
4. Enter in a suitable name and click Next.
5. Click on Add workflow.
6. Copy the webhook to your clipboard using the copy button, and then click Done.
7. Log into CLOUD TOGGLE and click on Notifications. from the left-hand menu.
8. Enter in a name for the notifications rule, change the toggle to enable it and then select Microsoft Teams from the drop-down box.
9. Enter in the webhook address copied from Teams and then click on 'Test nofication configuration' if you would like to receive a test message.
10. Choose any of the alert types by toggling them on, and then click UPDATE to save the rule. The following notification types are:
- Server start failed - Send a notification if a VM that has been scheduled to start has failed to start.
- Server stop failed - Send a notification if a VM that has been scheduled to stop has failed to stop.
- Cloud connection failed - Send a notification if a cloud connection has stopped working and it can no longer communicate with the resources in the clould connection.
- Cloud zone failure - Send a notification if a cloud Zone has failed.
